For the past month I have met thousand of people face to face and gladly answered their questions like:
"Does YWAM do Mission trips to Africa? 'Cause God has called me to go there when I graduate high school."
"My child is really into missions, could she do a summer mission trip with YWAM?"
"Our youth group has been looking for something just like what you do at YWAM. What should we do to sign up?"

We handed out 4000+ pieces of YWAM Info.
We drove over 4,000 miles
We camped in 4 different states
(Only letting our tent blow away once!)
We only broke the van once!
(Had to replace the fuel pump)
All in 28 days!


Now I'm back in Orlando for a half-time breather (20 Days) before the second half starts. Three more festivals and thousands of young people who will realize they can be part of the solution to the spiritual and physical problems of their generation. Instead of traveling with only one other staff member, I am excited to have a larger team on this second half. I will be joined by a performing arts team of 12 students and staff to attract attention to world missions and prove the many creative ways Christ's love can be shared globally.

What is Discipleship Training School? A student's review:

Each year my goal is to see hundreds of new missionaries jump into their first taste of missions. The Discipleship Training School is our 101 course and intro into a life of making a difference. I feel such gratification seeing, through their eyes, all that God has done! Here is what one student wrote about her recent experience.

A small Indian boy with a contagious smile climbed into my lap and began fiddling with my hands and touching my face. I could literally feel my heart melting as he stared into my eyes, smiling the whole time.

At about the age of 2, this boy, yet unnamed, was found strapped to a tree. His parents, victims of leprosy and rejected by society, wandered the streets begging for food or money. Rescued by Youth With a Mission (YWAM), this nameless boy was taken to a YWAM home where children of leprosy victims are housed. There, he was given clothes, food, love, the message of Christ, and a name—Joe. Now at the age of 4, Joe has special needs due to his lack of development at such a young age.
Over the last two months in India, I had the privilege of working with victims of leprosy and their families. Leprosy is totally curable, but it leaves victims with gaping wounds, deformities like missing fingers and toes, and a spirit of rejection in their hearts. There, I helped to package and distribute medical supplies to entire colonies of leprosy victims and pray with each of them.
I was also able to reach out to the children by teaching English and helping with their school work. By playing with them and simply touching them, God used me to show Joe and others like him that they are valuable to Him, that He loves them with his whole heart, and that He accepts them despite the lies of worthlessness, rejection, and hopelessness that have been spoken over them. These people have all left their permanent mark on my heart and in my life.
Being in Discipleship Training School (DTS) is more than just learning statistics about the suffering people of the world. It’s about gaining a heart for those people, children of God, who have faces and dreams and passions. If you are ready to get in the game and take action knowing that you have the power to change lives, the DTS is the place for you.

My Home church Teens go hungry for a good cause Video:

Some of my favorite students from my home town, Road to Life Church, made headlines on the local news channel. I lead many of these students on a mission trip with YWAM Orlando to the Dominican Haitian boarder over spring break. There we experienced first hand what $1 a day poverty looked like. I pray that this generation of Jesus followers continues to be known for Love, Compassion, and Generosity rather than judgment, passivity or materialism. Check out the below Video:

The world's English mania- Video:

Teaching English is a skill that I have been asked to improvise over and over again on outreach, Including 6 weeks in Thailand. What would this world look like if all Christian education included foreign language study (Mandarin or Arabic would be a good start) and TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages)? Christians would be in the highest demand in every country and like the biblical Daniel, in areas of high influence!

In this video, Jay Walker explains why two billion people around the world are trying to learn English. He shares photos and spine-tingling audio of Chinese students rehearsing English -- "the world's second language" -- by the thousands.

Spent the weekend with kids who have read 30+ Missionary biographies! WOW! Video:

These kids come up to the YWAM book table and tell me that they have read over 30 of our missionary biographies. Now that is the kind of inspired youth that will change the nations. I cant wait to help each of them fulfill their calling in world missions!
Each year I spend a few weeks in the spring meeting the next generation of missionaries at home school conferences and encouraging them to realize their potential through the biographies of past missionary greats. I have introduced global missions to thousands of youth at these conferences and in the last year alone three have chose to join us for a Discipleship Training School at YWAM Orlando. Planning a very busy spring/summer schedule. Will you be there?

I love meeting the next generation of missionaries even before they feel a calling to get into missions. Sometimes God uses ME to plant that seed of desire in their heart. Other times I meet young people who have spent years praying for the day they can join the great saints of history in taking the gospel to the far corners of the earth. Either way I look forward to finding them this summer across the eastern half of our nation. Below is a list of where I will be looking for them.

Dominican Republic Trip Video!

I am so excited to spend this additional week in Michigan with the team I led to The Dominican Republic! I have been asked to lead tomorrow's Wednesday night service at Road to Life Church and fill it with stories, photos and videos giving God His due Glory for all that this team has experienced. Much of my remaining time has been spent in private appointments with the students and their parents/families. Unpacking the experiences of a mission trip has always been a passion of mine, and helping students individually integrate their 7 days of missions into everyday life has been very rewarding. Most of the students speak of meeting eye opening poverty face-to-face and thanking God for all the things they have taken for granted. Many have spoken of a desire to continue disciplines they started like daily devotions, times of prayer, scripture reading, or sharing their personal faith with others boldly. These students have a lifetime of opportunity ahead of them, and I pray every future choice will be deeply effected by how Christ used their life in The Dominican Republic last week.

We are doing some hard labor and playing with some of the sweetest and most friendly children in the world. Thank you for letting this group come and share the message of Christ to the hearts of the Dominican people. Over and over again we are reminded by our dramas that we celebrate the crucifixion of Jesus and his Resurrection this week. Hundreds have applauded our work and message of hope and love. 60 days ago I flew to the Dominican Republic as a preparation trip for this spring break. Today I fly to Michigan to meet with the students and their parents. For some of these young missionaries, Saturday will be their first international flight.

You may have noticed that I get to fly A LOT and yet this would still be something of a surprise for me. What a way to make the boring and repetitious, very entertaining!

Just got a note from a graduating DTS student. These moments make even the most tedious parts of my job inspirational to me!

Dear Creagon,

I meant to tell you this in person, but with the hectic schedules that we faced during our last two weeks in school, plus with my never-ending habit of procrastinating, I failed to do so.

But during outreach, Stephanie asked me of how I came to be at YWAM Orlando. And I told her that it was mainly because of the phone call that I had when I first called the Orlando base. You picked up and talked with me for a good hour on just explaining what the program was all about and sharing your own experiences. And I hadn't even wanted to go to Orlando. I want to go to Oregon or Alaska, or somewhere that I had never been before. But after I spoke with you, I thought, "Wow. If everyone is like the guy that I just spoke with, then I definitely want to go to this base."

So, Creagon, your personality is outstanding and you have an incredible way of catching people's attention, which just makes absolute sense as to why you're so passionate in reaching out and gaining more students. You were so patient with me, so open, and so genuine. I just wanted to say thank you for just being who you've been called to be. You're outstanding, and many people have taken notice. I pray that you're doing so very well and I cannot wait to see you in the near future (I'm thinking about EQ, so watch out!)

Video Update: chalenging a church choir in Jackson MS

Driving 3 weeks from Orlando to Jackson MS to Atlanta GA to Talladega AL and back

After arriving from Dominican Republic at 3am this morning I will start my 3 week tour by driving to Jackson MS tomorrow morning around 6am. Thanks for praying for me as I meet the next generation of missionaries on college campuses and local churches! Oh... and stay awake on long drives!
